Power Capacity
IPS has two substations connected to the national grid at 230 kV totaling 80 MVA.
In addition: IPS will have a phased 180 MW gas-fired reciprocating engines power plant operational in 2028.
The power plant will grow from its initial 20-40 MW until reaching the expected installed capacity, as required. IPS has an additional substation (40 MVA) currently serving as back-up, which may be used as a main substation when required.
IPS is developing a 10 MWac Solar PV plant. and a 200 MW gas-fired reciprocating engines power plant to serve a large client with special requirements (AI Data Center). Both plants will be operational at the end of 2028
